February 12 - CEA Projects, member of the Project Cargo Network (PCN) in Thailand, has coordinated the unloading and transport of 13 Komatsu 830E haul trucks in Thailand.

The 164-tonne trucks were shipped on board the vessel HR Recommendation from Indonesia to Thailand's Laem Chabang port, where the units were unloaded onto SPMTs and transported to CEA Projects' free trade zone (FTZ) facility in the port for temporary storage.

Meanwhile, Alexander Global Logistics (AGL) - PCN member in Germany, Russia and Mongolia - handled the shipment of over-dimensional rubbish presses to Vietnam on 40 ft flat rack containers.

In Europe, Intertransport Gruber and Wirtz Shipping, PCN members in Germany and Belgium respectively, worked together to complete the transport of a 60-tonne cherry picker from Ukraine to Krefeld, Germany.

The cherry picker, which had the dimensions 16.4 m x 2.75 m x 3.99 m, was picked up from the Chernobyl nuclear power plant and delivered to Germany to undergo repair work.

The companies explained that many authorities were involved in the project in order to ensure that the cargo did not show any signs of nuclear radiation before entering Germany.

Elsewhere PCN member in Iran, Aryamasir International Transport, received 586 tonnes of breakbulk cargo at the Port of Bandar Abbas, before transporting the consignment to the Bukhara region of Uzbekistan. The project involved the use of 30 trucks and was completed in five days.
