Singapore-based Wealth Holdings Shipping has chosen Norden as commercial operator for up to eight new 17,400 dwt multipurpose (MPP) vessels.

The Danish shipping firm said that these vessels will be used to support the growing demand for wind components, energy infrastructure and complex industrial cargoes. 

Wealth Holdings Shipping, an affiliate of Wealth Holdings Group, began operations in 2021. As well as Singapore, the company has offices in Shanghai and Hong Kong.

HLPFI reported earlier this year that Norden plans to expand its MPP fleet to comprise 16 leased MPPs in total.
