Bosphorus Strait faces second closure

July 14 - The Bosphorus Strait in Turkey will be closed in both directions on July 15, 2015, between 7:00-14:00, says Inchcape Shipping Services (ISS).

The closure is due to ongoing construction work on the Yavuz Sultan Selim Bridge - also known as the Third Bosphorus Bridge. The exact time of re-opening will depend on the completion of bridge works, and is subject to change, said ISS.

It is the second time in five days that the Strait, a key shipping channel in the region, has been closed.
