Buss names Neelsen

September 14 - Effective October 1, 2015, Marco Neelsen will become chief executive officer (ceo) at Buss Port Logistics (BPL), succeeding Heinrich Ahlers.

Ahlers will remain with Buss Group, which now operates 12 terminals across Germany, the Netherlands and Turkey, until at least the end of 2016.

Neelsen is a trained navigational officer and has held managerial positions within the AP Möller Terminals Group in Oman, Nigeria and Aqaba, Jordan. Most recently, he served as ceo of the Khalifa Bin Salman port in Bahrain.

Dr. Johann Killinger, managing partner at Buss Group, said: "We are very excited to have found in him a suitable, well qualified successor for Heinrich Ahlers to lead our port enterprise, which is celebrating its 95th anniversary this year, into the future."
