April 30 - Compagnie Fran

Four of the tanks, which were made of plastic, had lengths of 31 m with diameters of 8.4 m and each weighed 31 tonnes, while the fifth tank weighed in at 19 tonnes with the same dimensions.

The tanks were loaded onto two 110 m vessels, Mondeo and Santina, for transport through locks, small spaces and large waterways, explained CFNR.

With rather low water levels at the moment and some low bridges to traverse, this is no easy transport to handle, said CFNR, but the company's experts on board will work to ensure that the tanks arrive safely.
