Multipurpose shipping line Chipolbrok has held a naming ceremony for its latest 62,000 dwt vessel, De An.
The seventh vessel in the shipping line’s 62,000 dwt series, De An has a lifting capacity of 300 tonnes and a deck space of 166 m x 30 m.
“De An is ready to take on heavy and oversized cargo around the world,” said Chipolbrok.
The sixth vessel in the series, Boym, joined the fleet last year.
Chipolbrok’s multipurpose vessel Chipolbrok Galaxy has been busy picking up and delivering project cargo for projects in Europe, North Africa, the Suez Canal and Asia via the Suez Canal.
The Federal Maritime Commission (FMC) has added Chipolbrok to its controlled carrier list due the Chinese government’s part ownership of the company.
