Duo reel-in heavy load

July 4 - Hong Kong-based Wangfoong Transportation has worked with Singapore-based Carriage Global to transport a 92-ton (83.5-tonne) reel, measuring 4 m x 3.4 m x 3.4 m, from Singapore to DaChan Bay, at the Port of Shenzhen, China, via Hong Kong.

Upon arrival in Hong Kong, Wangfoong provided a derrick barge onto which the cargo was transhipped from the deep-sea mother vessel and transported to the DaChan Bay terminal.

According to the Worldwide Project Consortium (WWPC), of which Wangfoong is the exclusive member in Hong Kong, the cargo was discharged from the barge using a heavy lift floating crane and loaded onto a trailer for onward transportation.
