December 9 - EMS-Fehn-Group companies, EMS Chartering and EMS Log, have worked together to deliver the first of two shipments for a flue gas filter system from Germany to Dublin, Ireland.
Two 20 m long reactors, each weighing 39 tonnes with diameters of almost 6 m, were loaded into a barge at the German Port of Papenburg, before being transported by river to the Port of Emden, where the units were lifted onto a seagoing vessel for shipment to Ireland.
The flue gas filter system comprises a total of 54 units of equipment, which will be delivered in two separate consignments to Dublin.
The port handling was carried out by EMS Port Agency and Stevedoring (EPAS).
