October 2 - At the Energy Industries Council (EIC), interim ceo Claire Miller has been confirmed as the trade association's permanent ceo.

Miller, who was named interim ceo in May, is a long-standing executive of the EIC, which provides dedicated services to help members understand, identify and pursue business opportunities globally.

 

Miller will be based in the EIC's London office and will be responsible for providing leadership and strategic direction to ensure continued, consistent promotion of members' interests and the EIC's reputation in the energy industry.

 

Established in 1943, the EIC is a not-for-profit organisation with a membership of over 650 UK-registered companies who deliver goods and services to the energy industries worldwide.
