First of three rotors installed by ALE at Algerian energy plant

October 19 - ALE Heavylift Ib

The rotor was jacked up, by means of the ALE Megalift, to the required height for installation inside the stator. Once the rotor reached the necessary height, it was moved forwards towards the stator until the front section of the rotor was actually inside the stator supported on the skidding tracks.

In this position the front sling was released and the rotor was connected to the strand tackles installed in its front flange. The rotor was then completely pulled and skidded inside the stator up to its final assembling position at the combined cycle plant Koudiet Ed Draouch project at Koudiet Ed Draouch, Algeria.
