GAC is open for business in Trinidad & Tobago

June 1 - GAC Energy & Marine Services LLC (GEMS) is expanding its shipping and logistics services to Trinidad & Tobago, with its newest office open for business in San Fernando.

GEMS will provide a wide range of integrated services and solutions to meet the diverse needs of companies in Trinidad & Tobago.

Trinidad & Tobago has estimated reserves of around one billion barrels of crude oil. Current production represents a mere fraction of this, with nearly two-thirds of potential reserves being untapped. The local administration is committed to develop the energy sector and has announced plans to prioritise exploration and development over the next five years. That potential for substantial long-term growth makes the opening of GEMS Trinidad & Tobago particularly timely.

It is headed by managing director Gobind Kukreja (pictured below), a GAC veteran with 25 years of shipping and logistics experience with the Group.
