January 20 - Guangzhou Sunshine Int'l Logistics has handled two complex projects in China, including the towage of an 82,000 dwt vessel bow and the shipping of a dismantled port crane.

The bow, which weighed around 6,500 tonnes and had the dimensions 111.49 m x 32.26 m x 20.2 m, was towed from Nantong, Jiangsu to Nansha in Guangdong.

As well as handling the towage, Guangzhou Sunshine also provided technical support and obtained approval from the relevant authorities.

Elsewhere, the company coordinated the transport of a dismantled port crane from Guangzhou to the port of Zhuhai by barge, from where the crane was shipped to Tianjin and Dandong.

The largest components of the crane weighed in at 62.5 tonnes, and had the dimensions 16.8 m x 7 m x 12 m. Guangzhou Sunshine handled the loading, lashing, securing and shipping operations, as well as the discharge and positioning of the crane into place.
