HANSA handles Chile lift

November 23 - Heavy lift and project cargo shipping line HANSA HEAVY LIFT has transported two ship loading systems from Bremen to Punta Lackwater in Chile.

The two 700-tonne capacity cranes of the heavy lift vessel HHL Tokyo ensured that the two 60 m long, 450-tonne conveyor belt elements and two 235-tonne towers that form the foundation of the ship loader were efficiently and safely loaded.

On arrival in Chile, the onboard cranes of the HHL Tokyo also supported the discharge of the cargo and then its assembly in Punta Lackwater, which involved the full engineering team of HANSA HEAVY LIFT.

Tomas Dyrbye, ceo of the company, commented: "That just shows how valuable it is to have an experienced team of engineers and vessel crew at our disposal."
