August 2 - Claude Zehren has been named interim executive vice president for flight operations at Cargolux, following Jason Holt's decision to step down from the airline with immediate effect.
Cargolux stated that Holt has decided to "move on to a new opportunity". He joined the Luxembourg based airline last year from easyJet Airlines.
Zehren has been with Cargolux for 18 years, serving as a pilot but also as a member of the management team.

Total cargo throughput of the port of Antwerp-Bruges amounted to 70.4 million tonnes in the first quarter of 2024, an increase of 2.4 percent compared to the same period last year, with container throughput increasing and the general cargo sector showing signs of recovery.
