January 10 - MIQ Logistics has opened a newly constructed global logistics facility in Houston, Texas.
The new facility is 56,404 sq ft (5,240 sq m), featuring a warehouse, a one acre (0.4 ha) storage yard, and 3,500 sq ft (325.2 sq m) bonded cage. According to MIQ Logistics, the facility also includes an area for crating and packing as well as office space.
The global logistics facility is in close proximity to George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH), the Port of Houston, and major highway systems.
MIQ Logistics is a resource for transporting and handling of costly components used in large-capital projects. It provides end-to-end supply chain solutions, as well as the informational and financial systems and processes in place to administer the project.
