Port management software developer Innovez One will digitalise last-mile launch operations at two piers at the port of Singapore, employing its counter service digital platform.

Innovez One will launch the platform at Singapore’s Marine South Pier (MCP) and West Coast Pier (WCP).

Innovez One said the platform is a contactless, counter services software that will streamline time-consuming and manual operations at the piers. It will encompass several innovations that negate the need for physical counter services and replace repetitive processes, digitalising core services including passenger management and loose cargo management.

David Yeo, ceo and founder of Innovez One said: “By automating and digitising the operations at MCP and WCP, we will be able to unlock tremendous productivity and efficiency gains, enhancing value and reducing the costs of operating the piers.”

Innovez One was awarded the project by the Maritime Port Authority at the Smart Port Challenge 2020 finals. The software developer will conduct the project in collaboration with Gulf Agency Company (GAC Group), Bernhard Schulte Shipmanagement, HHH Marine Launch, DM Sea Logistics (part of DM Group Services), and Kanlian Ferry.

A trial will first be conducted at the West Coast Pier (WCP), before being extended into the Marina South Pier (MCP).
