May 7 - Intermarine LLC will join 19 other companies on an Energy Business Development trade mission to West Africa from May 18-23, led by US Secretary of Commerce, Penny Pritzker.

Visiting Ghana and Nigeria, the mission will promote US exports and expand US companies' presence in Africa by helping American firms launch or increase their business in the energy sector.

Helping US businesses expand their presence in these African markets is a top priority for the Department of Commerce, and the Department's International Trade Administration will more than double its presence in Africa in the coming months, opening its first ever offices in Angola, Tanzania, Ethiopia and Mozambique.

Participants from Intermarine in the West African mission include Will Terrill, vice president of US ocean and John Bomer, vice president of Africa service.
