February 11 - SOHAR Port and Freezone have launched a new brand identity as part of an international marketing drive.

The new brand comes with a new motto - SOHAR, it all starts here - and a focus on key growth markets, including the Middle East, China, Korea, Japan, India, the EU, the US and Brazil.

One new design in keeping with a modern and technologically focused organisation will replace the old Port of Sohar and Freezone Sohar brands, but the original wave design from the very first port logo will remain.

"The new combined SOHAR brand gives us additional leverage to strive for future international growth…We have new container facilities and expanded terminal operations opening in the port, and many new tenants signing up in the Freezone," said SOHAR Port's chief executive, Andre Toet.
