Kempkens joins TT Club

May 22 - The TT Club has appointed Robert Kempkens as claims director, taking over from Phil Nichols who has retired after six years in the role.

Kempkens will be based in London and be responsible for overseeing global claims handling for the TT Club.

Nichols
joined the Thomas Miller Group in 1968 and has worked across both the TT Club and the UK P&I Club for a total of 46 years.

Charles Fenton, ceo of the TT Club, said that "the role of claims director is at the heart of the Club" and he is confident that Kempken's expertise in the management of claims and understanding of their implications for transport operators will ensure that he leads this key area well.
