KOGA Shipping will add the multipurpose vessel Vectis Castle to its US Gulf - Caribbean - North Coast South America trade lane through until December.

In a LinkedIn post, KOGA ceo Fernando Maruri said: “Breakbulk space in the Americas has dwindled as owners prefer to push available tonnage to Asia and Europe where rates better support the high ship costs. Americas markets will continue to adjust until some balance is reached. Our suggestion to our clients in the Americas (or anywhere) is to book space as early as they can as there is little sign of relief in the near term.”
