November 14 - Crane manufacturer Liebherr-Werk Nenzing in Austria has been awarded a contract to provide four RL 2650-25 D EX Litronic offshore cranes to GDF Suez E&P UK for the Cygnus gas field project.
The four offshore cranes will be built in the Liebherr production facility in Sunderland, UK.
The GDF Suez-operated Cygnus gas field is the largest to be discovered within the last 25 years in the southern part of the North Sea.
