Industrial action at the port of Liverpool, UK, has ended with dockers agreeing a deal with owner Peel Ports.
600 workers voted overwhelmingly in favour of the deal that saw workers receive pay increases of 14.3-18.5 percent. Strike action, which has been escalating since September 19, has now ended and docker workers will resume normal duties.
Unite the Union has confirmed that strike action will take place at the UK port of Liverpool from September 19 to October 3.
