North Queensland Bulk Ports Corporation (NQBP) has opened a storage area in the port of Mackay, Australia.
Located near Wharf 5, the uncovered area can accommodate a variety of bulk trades, said NQBP.
In addition to bulk commodities, NQBP said it would also target breakbulk cargoes.
NQBP trade development manager, Darren Fursman, commented that Mackay is one of the major servicing centres for the Central Queensland mining and agricultural industries.
