January 20 - Tuscor Lloyds has handled the shipment of 32 units of mining equipment and machinery from the port of Antwerp to the port of Callao in Peru.

The equipment, which included one 50-tonne module, arrived on low loaders at the port of Antwerp, where they were loaded onto mafi trailers using a heavy lift crane. The mafi trailers then transported the cargo to the quay side for loading onto the vessel.

The 50-tonne unit was loaded as breakbulk cargo onto flatrack containers and secured using heavy duty steel chains, while some of the smaller pieces of cargo were loaded onto prelashed flatrack containers as out-of-gauge cargo.

The cargo was shipped to the port of Callao in 28 days, and unloaded from the container vessel using another heavy lift crane.
