September 4 - SE Shipping Lines has commenced a breakbulk liner service called the SE Three Oceans Line, which connects Northern Europe with the Pacific islands and Australasia and returns to Europe via South Africa.

The service was formerly known as the Bank Line and had operated for more than 100 years, according to a statement from SE Shipping Lines.

The SE Three Oceans Line will handle breakbulk, project and heavylift cargoes and will deploy three geared multipurpose tweendeckers.

The first southbound sailing is scheduled to depart from Antwerp on 24 September, calling at Dunkerque, then Papeete, Noumea and other Australian, as well as New Zealand ports.
