Finland-headquartered Nurminen Logistics has opened an office in Parma, Italy, adding to its offices in Finland, Sweden, China, Latvia and Lithuania.

The office will support the company’s direct rail connection between Italy and Sweden, which is slated for February 2026. The rail route will be between Örebro and Parma.

The full logistics chain between the two countries is operated by Nurminen Logistics, with the firm offering a door-to-door service.

Earlier this month, Essinge Rail was fully integrated into the Nurminen Logistics Group, having been acquired in late 2024.
