The Northwest Seaport Alliance (NWSA) is inviting companies interested in operating Terminal 46, a 50 acre (20.2 ha) deepwater marine terminal, to submit proposals.

Located on the Seattle (USA) waterfront with access to major road and rail infrastructure, the property is suited for water-dependent uses including marine cargo operations, logistics and other maritime-supported activities, said NWSA.

The terminal includes 1,400 ft (426.7 m) of west-facing berth with a water depth up to 50 ft (15.2 m).

NWSA added: “The successful proposal will align with and support our goal of growing cargo volumes and creating family wage jobs in the Puget Sound region, while diversifying the gateway’s overall cargo portfolio.”
