Oversize overcomes challenges

May 28 - Oversize Transport Service Finland has transported a large marine crane from Verona, Italy to a shipyard in Severodvinsk, Russia.

The crane, of which the largest part weighed 58 tonnes and measured 5.2 m wide, was transported by road through Italy, Austria, Germany and Russia, using Oversize Transport's own special equipment.

Despite a great number of potential delays and complications due to road and repair works throughout Italy and Russia, Oversize Transport managed to deliver the cargo on time.

Oversize Transport Service Finland is a member of the Project Cargo Network (PCN).
