PLA members on the move

August 3 - Actanis Project Cargo, member of the Project Logistics Alliance (PLA) in Spain and Portugal, has transported four 361-ton (327.5-tonne) modules for the Kuwait GT5 refinery project.

The units, which measured 19 m x 11.3 m x 19.5 m, were transported onboard a RollDock vessel from the Port of Marghera, Italy to the Port of Shuaiba, Kuwait.


Meanwhile, Lift & Shift has delivered a 1,535-ton (1392.5-tonne) reactor from Hazira to Mumbai, India, for Sasol. The reactor was loaded onboard a Jumbo vessel for onward transportation. 

Lift & Shift is a PLA member in India and Oman.



Croatian PLA member, R&B Global Projects, has unloaded a 96-ton (87-tonne) heat exchanger from a vessel at the Port of Rijeka. The heat exchanger was loaded on to a truck for onward transportation to Kostrena, Croatia. 

The spray bar and service components which accompany the exchanger were transported from the equipment's origin in Italy to the project site in Kostrena.
