March 03 - CLECAT has, in collaboration with FIATA and the ITF, established a prize for 'Innovation in Transport and Logistics along the Global Supply Chain'.
The prize will recognise the provision of an initiative supplying efficient, sustainable, intermodal transport and logistics services across the global supply chain. Open to transport and logistics companies who can show originality in providing efficiency, competiveness and environmental quality to their supply chain challenges.
Categories of prize will range from multinational to regional and local operators. The prize will be awarded at a special ceremony at the Leipzig 2009 International Transport Forum on Transport for a Global Economy: Challenges and Opportunities in the Downturn.
