R&B finds a quicker way

March 31 - R&B Global Projects has arranged the chartering of a Thorco Shipping vessel to deliver an urgent consignment of factory equipment from Houston, USA to the Netherlands.

R&B director Dave Roosen explained that the client experienced setbacks with a number of ships that could not make the delivery in time, but the Croatian company managed to find a vessel that could make its way to the Port of Houston immediately.

In order to complete this shipment in time, R&B arranged the chartering of the 12,000 dwt vessel to ship the 600 cu m consignment as the only cargo onboard to the Netherlands, where the logistics provider will handle discharge of the cargo, transhipment onto barges and trucks, and final delivery to the client's destination.
