R&B in Maldives move

May 8 - Croatia's R&B Global Projects has arranged the shipment of 1,700 cu m of dredging equipment from Hulhumale in the Maldives to Abu Dhabi.

The port of Hulhamale's very shallow draft posed a challenge to R&B during loading. The consignment, which included ro-ro machinery and static equipment, had to be lifted by a heavy lift vessel with long outreach cranes from a pontoon onto the ship.
