SC&RA on the look out for workshop papers

March 25 - The Specialized Carriers & Rigging Association (SC&RA) has issued a call for papers to be presented during the Crane & Rigging Workshop, September 21-23, Sheraton Philadelphia City Centre, Philadelphia.

Authors are required to present the title and a short abstract of about 100 words for a session that could be presented in 60 to 90 minutes.

Submissions should include the author's name, job title and contact information. Each submission must provide sufficient detail to allow the Crane & Rigging Group Workshop programme task force to assess its merits.

Membership of SC&RA is not a prerequisite for submitting papers for the workshop.

The SC&RA is an international trade association of more than 1,300 members from 46 nations. Members are involved in specialised transportation, machinery moving and erecting, industrial maintenance, millwrighting and crane and rigging operations, manufacturing and rental.

Submissions must be emailed by Friday, April 15 to Beth O'Quinn at boquinn@scranet.org
