August 4 - Scholpp Kran & Transport has taken delivery of a Demag AC 220-5 all terrain crane.
Scholpp purchased the five-axle crane with a hydraulic fly jib, to extend the 78 m main boom.
According to Martin Scholpp, managing partner, this enables the crane to lift high and wide loads, while minimising the required setup work.
The Stuttgart, Germany-based company will use the AC 220-5 for its projects with German chemical producer BASF Group.
The Demag AC 220-5 joins Scholpp's fleet of 50 cranes.
