November 16 - Steder Group has teamed up with Mammoet to transport four spudcans through the Netherlands for a Belgium offshore marine engineering company.
The spudcans - each of which weighed 220 tonnes - were transported from the supplier's premises to a shipyard in the Rotterdam area via the Dutch inland waterway system.
At the shipyard, the spudcans (base cones used on mobile drilling jack-up platforms) will be installed on a jack-up vessel.
Steder Group is a member of the Worldwide Project Consortium (WWPC).
