December 7 - Terex Port Solutions (TPS) will supply a Model 2 mobile harbour crane to the Port of Otake in Japan.

On delivery, the GHMK 2204 two-rope variant movie harbour crane, ordered via Chikuho Seisakusho, will handle containers and general cargo, and has a lifting capacity curve adapted to Japanese requirements with a maximum lifting capacity of 62 tonnes, an outreach of up to 40 m and a maximum lifting speed of 85 m/min.

The machine is also equipped with a second, specially developed load display in order to meet the relevant requirements for the safe load indicator in the Japanese market.

Whilst this will be the tenth mobile harbour crane that Terex has supplied to the Japanese market, it will be the first crane of the company's Generation 5 harbour cranes in the country.

Once the new crane is in place, Terex Port Solutions will be represented in a nine ports throughout the country.
