WWPC gets Caterpillars moving

June 20 - Members of the Worldwide Project Consortium (WWPC), Port Logistics Mexico and Steder Group, have worked together to arrange the transport of five heavy Caterpillar machines from Mexico to the Netherlands.

The Caterpillar machines, each of which weighed between 52 and 70 tonnes, were being used as dredging equipment at the port of Lazaro Cardenas.

The machines were first transported by truck to the Mexican port of Veracruz, before being shipped onboard a Rickmers-Linie vessel destined for Rotterdam.
