Antwerp names new port representative in Germany

April 5 - Antwerp Port Authority has appointed a new representative in Germany, tasked with paying special attention to the North Rhine Westphalia region.

Dr. Dieter Lindenblatt has a great deal of experience in the logistics world, among other things as senior VP at ThyssenKrupp Steel Europe.

His extensive network of contacts in logistics and manufacturing leaves him well placed to support the port authority's ambitions in the German market which is responsible for as much as 20 percent of Antwerp's hinterland trade.

As the representative of the port he will be the first point of contact for the German manufacturing and logistics sectors.
