Duo of project cargo forwarders powers Turkish investment

January 6 - Two project cargo freight forwarders, both members of the Project Cargo Network (PCN), have worked together to move a significant consignment of generating equipment from Finland to Turkey.

Hacklin Logistics, based in the port of Mäntyluoto, Finland handled the initial despatch in December 2011 of fourWartsila 50SG generators and accessories, weighing 72 tonnes, for a CCPP (Combined Cycle Power Plant) in Turkey. The consignment was loaded at Mäntyluoto onto the Nunavut Eastern Arctic Shipping's MV Qamutik for shipment to Iskenderun, Turkey.

On arrival in Turkey, the consignment will be handled to the CCPP by the project cargo arm of Istanbul-based forwarder SDV Horoz.
