ISS provides Australian agency services

May 30 - Maritime service provider Inchcape Shipping Services (ISS) is providing support logistic services to the Belgium headquartered Jan De Nul Group, for an offshore energy project in Australia.

Jan De Nul has appointed ISS Australia as its agent for the import of 15 vessels into Northwest Australia. The contract also includes port agency, husbandry services and logistical support.
Jan De Nul is dredging specialist and has been employed for a pipeline stabilisation project, as part of the Wheatstone Project in the Northern Carnarvon Basin. To date, eight vessels have already been imported into Australia with a futher seven due to arrive by October 2013.
