Long appointment strengthens GAC Australia

September 27 - GAC Australia has appointed Gareth Long as commercial manager, to drive business development at all Australian ports and beyond the country's borders.

With more than 15 years of operational experience at various Australian ports, Long has been with GAC Australia since its establishment in 2007 - most recently serving as port manager at Mackay.


Now based at GAC Australia's head office in Sydney, Long joins the senior management team and reports directly to managing director Phil Coolican.


Headquartered in Dubai, GAC employs over 9,000 people in more than 300 offices worldwide.
