January 7 - Charles Gee & Co have delivered the Alcas WP 1 airline wing transport service on time and under budget.
The company worked to provide project support and logistics services integration to the Alcas project on a DBO (Design, Build, Operate) solution.
The project required the manufacture of the transport fixture, collection, transport and delivery of the 4.8 m wide, 16 m long Alcas lateral wing from Airbus Filton Bristol, to Airbus FAL in Toulouse France for integration with the centre wing.
