APL adds to WAX service

APL has added the ports of Xingang, China; Busan, South Korea; and Sohar, Oman to its West Asia Express (WAX) service.

APL says the enhancement to its WAX service marks the shipping line’s commitment to provide a wider coverage between the Far East and Middle East.

The service will offer direct access to Sohar from Qingdao, as well as to Dammam and Dohar from Xingang, says APL.

The enhanced WAX service will commence sailing from Xingang on July 26.
