November 23 - Customised rope and cable specialist Cortland Company has signed a cooperation agreement with specialist hoisting and lifting solutions provider KWINT Offshore.
KWINT will become the European distributor of Cortland's synthetic ropes and slings. The Dutch company will also provide inspection, repair, splicing, and storage services to existing and new customers in oil and gas, renewable and industrial applications.
US based Cortland says that the deal strengthens its share of the commercial heavy marine and rigging markets in Europe.
KWINT has also recently opened a new 13,800 sq m facility at the Port of Rotterdam.
