IGS handles Mumbai-bound consignment of construction equipment

May 17 - Qatari freight forwarder Intergroup Shipping (IGS), working with Mumbai-based Keel Logistics, has won an order to ship secondhand construction equipment and accessories from Doha to Mumbai for a Qatar-based Chinese company.

IGS, a member of the Global Project Logistics Network (GPLN), handled the consignment of self-propelled drilling rigs and 15 other pieces with a volume of 750 cu m which was shipped on the Hoegh Autoliners ro-ro vessel, Hoegh Kyto.

Intergroup Shipping (IGS), is a part of the Intergroup group of companies, an affiliate of Al Faisal Holding, formerly known as Faisal Bin Qassim Al-Thani & Sons holding company established in 1985. Intergroup has over 40 companies and a workforce of over 5,000 employees.
