USA-based Barnhart Crane and Rigging has entered into an agreement to acquire Taylor Crane Rental.

Taylor-Barnhart

Taylor Crane Rental provides crane rental and crane services within a 300-mile (483-km) radius of St. Louis. The acquisition will further enhance Barnhart’s presence in the Midwest, where the company already operates several branches in Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, and Kentucky.

“Taylor has an excellent reputation for customised lifting solutions for jobs of all sizes, as well as a highly trained and dedicated staff. The team will help to secure Barnhart’s position as the best lifting and logistics provider in the region,” said Dan Webb, Barnhart regional director.

Jack Taylor, principal at Taylor Crane Rental, added: “Taylor’s customer base will continue to receive the same quality service and product offerings as they have for the past 77 years and will benefit from access to Barnhart’s nationwide network of locations backed up by project cargo logistics capabilities, its engineering department with more than 60 engineers, and its own fleet of barges for transport on inland waterways.”
