Braemar in board reshuffle

April 9 - Braemar Shipping Services is making a number of changes to its board of directors, all of which become effective after the company's AGM on June 24, 2015.

Sir Graham Hearne will retire as group chairman, having served in the role for the past 12 years, and will be succeeded by non-executive Braemar director David Moorhouse.

Denis Petropoulos, Johnny Plumbe and Tim Jacques will not be seeking re-election as directors of the board. Petropoulos will remain with Braemar as president of Braemar Asia, as well as serving on the group's executive committee.

In addition, Braemar group finance director Martin Beer will be stepping down as a director in the summer of 2015. He will be succeeded by former group finance director of Williams Grand Prix Holdings, Louise Evans.

Following these changes the group board will comprise: non-executive chairman, David Moorhouse; chief executive, James Kidwell; finance director, Louise Evans; and non-executive directors, Jurgen Breuer, Alastair Farley and Mark Tracey.
