COSCO Shipping Specialized Carriers, together with COSCO Shipping (West Asia), has signed a joint venture agreement with Saudi Ports Services & Storage (PSS) to strengthen its presence in the Middle East.

The agreement marks the establishment of COSCO Shipping Specialized Carriers’ first integrated, multi-functional supply chain hub in Saudi Arabia, which it said signals a new phase of a deepened China–Saudi collaboration in the logistics sector.
It forms part of the company’s Middle East strategy, in line with supporting the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) and aligning with Saudi Vision 2030. “It reinforces supply chain resilience, promotes balanced global trade, and contributes to sustainable China–Saudi economic cooperation,” added COSCO Shipping Specialized Carriers.
Looking ahead, COSCO Shipping Specialized Carriers will continue to deepen its presence in Saudi Arabia and West Asia, optimise fleet deployment, and further strengthen its global supply chain network.
Last month, the carrier launched three liner services linking Asia, the Middle East and Europe.
