Crane Worldwide Logistics has opened a new facility in Savannah, Georgia, which will enhance its services on the USA’s East Coast.

Jim Crane, chairman of Crane Worldwide Logistics, said: “We have invested USD50 million in this new facility as Savannah is a critical hub for shipping with its proximity to Atlanta, access to rail, and the convenience of the Interstate.”

The 500,000 sq ft (46,451 sq m) facility will offer a range of services including heavy and oversize cargo handling; trans-border services between the USA, Canada and Mexico; as well as ocean and airfreight shipments.
