Tokyo-headquartered heavy transport specialist Denzai and turbine installation provider Global Wind Service (GWS) have formed a strategic partnership aimed at developing services for the Japanese offshore wind sector.

The partnership will look to leverage Denzai’s skills in transport and crane operations along with GWS’s wind turbine technicians to offer solutions for installation and maintenance. The move will allow customers to access a broader range of services from a single supplier.
“We view our collaboration and partnership with GWS, a company with a solid track-record and advanced expertise, as highly meaningful,” said Kohki Uemura, president and ceo for Denzai.
Michael Høj Olsen, ceo of GWS, added: “Progress in renewable energy depends on strong partnerships and shared expertise. By combining Denzai’s logistical capabilities with GWS’s technical knowledge, we are able to offer an integrated service package that delivers real value.”
Last month, HLPFI reported that Denzai had signed a partnership with Polish crane company Dźwigi Pomorze.
